Countdown in Honeymoon Island

Honeymoon Island on a week day around this time of the year feels like a remote place, where hardly anyone can arrive. Its rocky shores, calm really feels like a lost island in the middle of the ocean...In this quiet setting Elspeth and Miguel felt really comfortable to have their pictures taken just few weeks before the arrival of baby Noah. I was very pleased to witness their excitement and capture some beautiful moments of their countdown.

P.S: I love the song they chose for their slideshow. One of my favorites!

Baby Daniela

About three months ago I had the opportunity to take photos of the Trias Family as they were expecting the arrival of the fourth baby girl. About two weeks ago baby Daniela was born and I felt honor to continue documenting the life of this beautiful family with her newborn photos.

Welcome to the world baby Daniela!

Back to Florida, back to the beginning

Amanda and Matt went back to the beach where they first met for their engagement session.

It was easy to notice that the couple were on vacation. They were tanned, chatty and relaxed. A little walk, a funny "couples quiz" and a walk by the shore became  the perfect setting for some fun, romantic yet casual photos.

We will welcome Matt and Amanda their special beach for their wedding very soon.

Mother's day is coming

I love photographing babies but I like it even more when their moms are on them. A lot of mothers are not considering appearing in the photos when they are looking to hire a photographer for a newborn session but I always prefer that they appear in the photos because what makes their babies so beautiful is their love and care.

Luckily, Sara was open and flexible to be photographed with her baby and her older daughter in this 90 minutes photo session in their Plant City home.

Thank you Sara for allowing me to take pictures of you and your beautiful children.  Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Lara and Lucas, motherhood and its everyday beauty

"I am always taking pictures of my kids, that is why I am never on them"- said Lara when we first talked about this photo session.  A few days later, 90 minutes of picture taking  at her home became the solution.

During that time, Lara and Lucas had time to play, sing and cuddle, some of the core little moments of everyday early motherhood that most mothers never forget as time goes by. Now Lara have dozens of pictures to choose from .

Thanks Lara and Lucas for sharing this special time of your lives with me. I hope to be your family photographer for many years to come and continue building your family history in photos.

It's spring and love is in the air! Mike and Rebecca

They were not getting engaged, or married. This was just a session to celebrate love in one of their favorite places: the beach, where they have the privilege to go almost daily because it is within walking distance from their home.  Rebecca and Mike have been married for over a year and they are enjoying every minute of it. So why not capturing that? Thank you Rebecca and Mike for opening up to me and my camera in this beautiful session!

Lola 361

Lola day 361

A two days, one hour session with Lola as she is about to turn one: her first walks, her messy and fun meals learning to use the spoon and this special book time with grandma, who is visiting from out of state. Happy birthday sweet Lola! This photo session is a little gift that your parents will show you when you are all grown up!
